Heritage Pork
We believe that good food comes from happy animals. Our pigs spend their days leisurely foraging in pasture and soaking in the pond. They come in at night for some dinner and safety from predators and then back out after their breakfast.
Gloucestershire Old Spot
We were introduced to the GOS by chance when a friend needed to find a new home for their registered gilt. It wasn’t long before we fell in love with the friendly personality of the breed. When it came time to process some of that first litter we were pleasantly surprised by meat quality compared to the other domestic and wild pork we were used to. We knew when we got settled here in Alabama we wanted to have GOS pigs again.
Hereford
This spring we partnered with a neighbor to pool our resources to provide meat for our families. That brought us to look at the Hereford breed for its qualities similar to what we were used to with our Old Spots.
